Dooooooood!

Harvard researchers have created a boneless robot that moves pneumatically and can apparently limbo better than any human being.  The robot is an X-shaped “tetrapod,” each of its four limbs able to bend and flex when pressurized.  Cyber-octopus overlords like this one…

… must be just around the corner.

From the Artist:

“In my version, little Red Riding Hood is actually an alien and the wolf is her obedient alien servant.  You can make up the rest of the story…”

…so the wolf devours Grandma in order to steal her identity/bodysnatch her.  Red liquidates Grandma’s accounts in order to invest in her latest internet startup: a calamari delivery service.  After she’s dispatched her canine servant to eliminate their only competition (Three Little Pigs and a Truck), Red is well on her way to Taking Over the World…

Martin de Diego Sadaba is an artist of rare genius who creates disturbing, in-your-face scenes that seem to come straight from Hell.  This image in particular was commissioned to illustrate the work of indie film director Velasco Broca, called Echos der Buchrucken.  Check out Martin’s gallery, as well as this preview of nutty strangeness featuring the galactic adventures of Jaime de Funis and Arancha.

You can purchase the full DVD here.

From the Artist:

“He has many tentacles, and doesn’t like humans or wearing clothes.  His interests are snorglurging and long walks on the beach.”
